Thing9Taking & Editing photos

What fun Things!! A colleague recommended trying Snapseed and Pixlr so I thought I'd give those a go!  I made the mistake of  checking the box on one of them that doesn't allow access to my photos! Mistake!  Without access, you can't obviously do much!
I had great fun with CamMe although I've never been a fan of my own portrait!!  The video was pretty cute! The photoshoot feature is pretty slick too!

This is Pixlr! I liked the idea of adding text to photos and of course, this is not work related (but it has good application for work related photos!

Snapseed didn't have a way to add text but it offered many editing options.  35 below and snow at the Lake!

Thing8Social Media Management Tools

I never was sure about the point of Twitter and reading lists and lists of endless social
text. So, it was a perfect exercise for me to get going and try it out objectively!!  I am going to follow for a bit before I summon up the courage to "tweet" So , when you least suspect it , you may be "tweeted"

Thing7 Content Saving & Sharing

What a great way to save all those personalized interest pics !! Works much better on my iPad ! Again, not sure how useful this is in my day to day work (it isn't) but I had fun searching for great pictures of food, children and reading and Minnesota wild flowers (which I intend to compare to the ones I find at the Lake).

Yay! On to the Next 5 .....

Thing6Creating & Editing docs

As much as I use excel and word on a daily basis, it is very awkward to use them on an  iPhone. I wonder if it also downloaded to my iPad ? That would work so much better!

Thing4

Well, this was a bit of a challenge but I did it!

UPDATE: Now that I've been using Flipboard, I realize it's not the best way to keep up with news.  For one thing, it doesn't automatically update which I discovered over one weekend.  I asked a colleague how it updates, and she told me to swipe it from left to right and sure enough, it did update. I downloaded the  Toronto Globe & Mail and it has been fun to be in touch with Canadian news!
